why do people run away?
to escape from the reality they must face
daily? to satisfy the nagging urge for
adventure?
why do we select the place we run away to?
does it offer potential for a new start? you
were perhaps attracted to the feel of the city?

the truth is, we all eventually long to break
free from the restraints of our current lives.
for many, it can be surpressed, and we
continue to work forward with what we've
been focused on for years.
for others, it's a bit harder. we will not
rest until we've broken free, from everything
we've ever called home, and what we
no longer wish to call home.

glen oak, minnesota seems to draw those who
make the departure. from the elite to the mediocre,
some sort of hope is seen in their eyes. it may
be the isolation, the quaint atmosphere, or
the attraction you felt to the person wandering
down the street as you drove into town.

we welcome you, whether you're starting a new life
or preferred a new locale to continue the
one you're attached to.
